Whether you can produce the nice quality of the laminated glass or not, it is up to the machine, productive technology, glass, auxiliary materials, interlayer decorative materials, climatic condition, the operant skill and responsibility of the staff. The quality of the film is just a restriction factor of them. So you should analyse the comprehensive factor and Master comprehensive skills when u start to produce the EVA laminated glass.
Now we hereby advice u how to use the EVA film when you produce the laminated glass as below:
about the processing equipment and environment requirements
1. EVA film should process and store in a dry condition. Temperature not above30℃, Humidity not above 60%
2. The vacuum degree of the equipment 0.094Mpa.nice exhaust. You must ensure the machine
work uniformity good of the temperature rising and keeping on the totally surface of the glass.
Different temperature point should be 5℃. we advice u to test multipoint to ensure the temperature uniformity of the machine. Please control the temperature based on the lowest point.
3. You should test the temperature, humidity and vacuum gauge, temperature probe regularly.
about the storage of the film
1. EVA film should be stored in a ventilated, dry, clean single room. Avoid direct sunshine and the heat
radiation, stress, external force and the scratch by hard things. Please matting pallet under the film when the storage is a big quantity. It is good for ventilation cooling and avoiding the humidity. Film will self-adhesion or change little red or yellow when the film stressed or excessive moisture and heat. That will influence the normal use. We advice the clients to use up all the goods without package opened within 1 year. The performance of the film will decline with the longer storage and worse storage condition.
2. The rest use of the film should be packed in clean materials again. In case the film polluted by the dust and moisture erode. That would influence the normal use. We advice clients use up the rest film within
half year.
about the use of the film
1. As the particularity and irresistible of the film, we suggest you’d better make a small piece of laminated
glass sample to test and ensure the quality, color, cohesive force before u start to produce in bulk. (The area of the small piece samples will not be less than 0.5m). You can push to produce in bulk after confirm the quality by the small piece of laminated glass. That can avoid significant scrap because of the difference between the samples and the bulk. You should do contrast examination regularly during the producing if you use a big quantity in the same variety and batch (especially for the color transparent). Also you should do contrast examination on the finished laminated glass regularly to check out whether there is quality and color errors or not .It can prevent the batch scrap. For the color transparent film we don’t suggest you to use the same variety film in different batch in one order. The color would be easier different just like I mentioned above.
2. You should test the glass that have been cleaned and wiped earlier when you start to produce the
laminated glass. You should change the water in the glass wash machine. Must wiped and clean the water on the glass, the kerosene and water on the film (that would be better to use drying machine). Otherwise the laminated glass will be easier degumming and have bubble in a certain time. So please don’t produce in heavy rain day or humidity more than 60% condition.
3. It is hard to avoid slight pollution during production such as a little impurity on the surface of the film and etc. We suggest you to set a group of fluorescent outside the machine in order to check out whether there were impurity, stain or the other sings. Please pick it off by knife if you find a few impurity or black point. It will not influence the normal use if the hole on transparent film is less than half of rice. Please stop to use and contact us to deal with them urgently if you find more impurity and black point. Blind production will make both of the buyer and seller unnecessary lose.
4. You should analyse and test the interlayer decorative materials first before you produce wire laminated or strength glass. Because some of interlayer decorative materials among the EVA film have adverse
reactions. So you must do test and treatment. Anyway we suggest you to do a relative drying treatment for the interlayer decorative materials in order to eliminate the moisture and organic solvents in it. Actually after keeping a relative time it will be easier degumming and have bubble if you use the moisture interlayer decorative materials.
5. The laminated glass is produced in high temperature and pressure. Therefore in a certain temperature, the solid film will become flowing. It will flow out of the glass easily and then the thickness around the glass will change. The part around the glass will degum and have bubble easily when the film starts to cool down and shrink. So it would be better produce by surround batten around the glass. That can reduce the pressure around the glass and the amount of the film outflow.
6. Please don’t produce different thickness of the glass or film in the same productive technology and
machine. That would influence the quality. Normally the temperature of the color transparent film will be a little higher than the transparent film, the temperature of wire laminated glass should be a little higher than single layer film laminated glass. The thicker film or glass need to be kept temperature longer than the thinner. Anyway you should increase the setting temperature when you use the thickness of the glass more than 10mm. The exactly setting temperature and the time of keeping temperature are up to different machine and the heating power. Please let us know if you are not familiar with the machine and the film. We will give you the best advice to reduce the lose.
7. The time of the cooling down temperature is very important after the laminated glass get out of the machine. Actually the faster cool down the better clear and transparent degree. But it will degum and have bubble around the glass if there is big difference in temperature after the laminated glass get out of the machine. So you can cool down the laminated glass by a high power electric fan during summer production. In winter, you should extend the cooling down time in machine. Also please don’t open the vacuum bag as soon as you take off the heating tray. (keep vacuuming until you can take out of the glass.) please let the laminated glass cool down uniform near by 50℃ in nature condition. Then take the finished laminated glass out after that.
8. Please don’t polish the edge as soon as the laminated glass get out of the machine. It influences the stick strength (it would get in to the water around the glass easier). We suggest you to polish the edge after the laminated glass get out of the machine 24 hours. Please tidy the outflow film by knife. That would be better polish the edge of the glass before you start to produce. It can avoid to degum and have bubbles. That would be better polish the edge by fine grain grinding wheel over tim about the installation sealant
The security laminated glass must joint by seal glue during you use it. Actually some kind of seal glue did bad effect on EVA film. It will lead to degum and have bubble or black. Some kind of paint also can damage the film just like the seal glue as above. So please comprehend and test the seal glue before you decide to use it in bulk. We suggest you to use Toshiba neutral weather-resistance sealant made in Japan or Xinyue silica gel KE-45. We will not be responsible if the quality of the laminated glass influenced by wrong seal glue you used.Special notice
1. Please check out the commodity code outside the package before you opened and use the film. You can use it after checked out and /confirm/ied. Also please get the commodity code off lightly and stick it inside the paper tube. Then you can check by it when the film has problems.
2. The film will change a little red or yellow because of the wrong way in store. The slightly changed will not influence the use. You can make a small sample of laminated glass to check out whether it can be used or not. You can deal with this problem by opening the two sides of package and dry it. This way just can remit the changed. Please stop using the film and contact us as soon as possible if can’t deal with this problem by this way.
3. The few amount of tiny hole will not influence the normal use, Please stop using and contact us to deal with the problem as soon as possible when you find the big amount hole and big hole.
4. We delivery the goods by freight forwarder. So please check out whether the package is good when you get the bulk. Please deal with freight forwarder if you find something wrong.
5. Please pack and fix the film again to avoid the damage and pollute during the delivery if we both agree to return the film. The client should be responsible if you didn’t pack it well.
